Stay-Fresh Baby Food Containers

I decided to purchase and use the Stay-Fresh Baby Food Containers from One Step Ahead for a number of reasons. It's such a great alternative to the ice cube tray/freezer storage bag method of storing homemade baby food. A great reason to use the Stay-Fresh Baby Food Containers is that they are BPA-free. The website doesn't mention this, but when you receive the shipment it says so on the box. It's one less thing to worry about for your little one.

The containers are compact and stack-able, taking up very little space in the freezer. They come with a tray that you can snap the containers onto. You won't find yourself digging into the freezer looking for that one last container or that zip-lock bag full of sweet potato.

The containers have screw-top lids so you can definitely be sure that the lids will stay on during transport. In fact, I just threw the containers filled with baby food into my baby bag without any hesitation. They didn't open or leak.

What's also great about the little containers is that there are 1oz and 2oz indicators on them. For babies just starting out on solids, the 1oz marker really helps to reduce wasted food. I purchased two sets so I definitely have tons of baby food for my little one to last me a few weeks!

The only gripe I have is that you have to pay for shipping since the containers are only available from One Step Ahead. But, I think it's worth it. Each package comes with 12 containers, unlike other food storage containers out there that only come with 10.

Like they say on their website, it really is the best baby food storage system out there.

They Open up
by: Anonymous

I love these too, and have two sets of 12 but since I have twins, am planning on getting more sets. I like them the best out of all I have tried, but they do open up! At first I thought I was filling them up too much, but that is not the case. Luckily I find them open or the lid just falls off while the foods are still frozen. If I put dry goods inside, the lids stay snug.
