Your baby's delicate skin can burn in as little as 10-15 minutes, so protecting him from the sun is
crucial.
For babies less than 6 months of age, keep sun exposure to a minimum

After 6 months, brief periods of exposure are safe, provided that a good sunscreen is used.
Make sure baby is also wearing a good sun hat that protects the back of his neck.
Avoid exposure between 11am and 3pm - when the sun is at its hottest.
