This is a powerful blender - not so important if your just using it for baby food, but if you plan to use it for more 'heavy duty' purposes (like crushing ice) - then it's ideal! It comes with a beaker (although we prefer to puree directly in the cooking pot - less to wash up!). The stainless steel shaft is removeable and dishwasher safe, so clean up couldn't be easier!

This means that it's easy to puree small quantities. The extra long cord is useful, too - in fact, the only (small) disadvantage with this one is that the blending shaft isn't dishwasher safe.
