The Woombie

My baby slept through the night since she was 7 weeks old which I attribute to swaddling.
The few times that she awoke in the middle of the night was because she got out of her swaddle. This started happening when she starting out-growing the miracle blanket (which is a GREAT product too)! I didn't know what to do because she was getting bigger and out-growing the miracle blanket but she only slept well when she was swaddled.
I came across the Woombie which is a great transition swaddler when your baby starts to get bigger. They have bigger sizes and it enables the infants to move around but the movements are limited so she won't wake during the night. It contours to their shape like when they're in the womb and confines them but doesn't constrict their movements. There is a lot of research out there about when you should or shouldn't start/stop swaddling but I had to listen to my baby's cues and she isn't ready to stop swaddling. The woombie helped ease my fears of whether or not it was unsafe to continue swaddling.
She loves the Woombie and it was a very smooth transition from the miracle blanket. The biggest bonus is that she sleeps well which helps me sleep well too.
