The pears did the job

Yesterday's fruit and this morning's pears helped bunches. Alex has made two nice diapers today. They were both small. But at least he produced something today and he is a happy camper. So I listened to my gut and my son's gut is happier for it.

It's kind of funny being a new mommie. All I can talk about is poo. I'm amazed by it. The grandmas tell me that when I start Alex on baby food, I won't like what I see in his diaper. There will be logs and it will be messy. Are they kidding. I love it. Before it was a watery mess. Now, we have cute, little tidy logs. Easy clean up. I'm starting to think every mommie is different.

It's just like I enjoy each phase I am in. I don't say "I can't wait till Alex can roll over" or "I can't wait till he can talk". I like that he lays there and absorbs his surroundings and is manageable. He isn't into everything. I want to enjoy what I have with him, while I have it. Why rush him? I might not have this chance with all my children. I'm cherishing my precious one and I'm going to savor every last moment.
