Solarweave Connecta Baby Carrier

by Danielle Foerschler
(Las Vegas, NV, USA)

This is the best baby carrier I own. It is extremely easy to get on and off. For forward carrying it is always the first I grab.

The fabric is very light weight and does not get hot while wearing, like my Beco and Ergo do. It is a must for hot weather carrying. It can also be used in the pool or shower, although I have not used it for this yet.

I would highly recommend this carrier for anyone looking for a summer carrier.

Connecta Solarweave is Great
by: Anonymous

I got the Connecta Solarweave to carry my 3-month-old this summer. I've worn him in it, in a front-carry, at the wading pool with my older daughter and it's great: it's not hot, it has a hood to shade my baby's head, and the solarweave blocks the sun and dried quickly when we accidentally got splashed. It also has an accessory strap that can be used to make the base (where they sit) smaller for young babies; this was ideal for my baby. It's easy to get on for the front carry and feels comfortable and secure. My baby is really tall and heavy for his age (he's over 16 lbs) and it still was painless carrying him in the front carry. I've also got other carriers, but this is one of my favorites. I've been using an Ergo with the infant insert the most, but the Connecta Solarweave is not as hot or bulky. The only issue, from a sun standpoint, is that my baby's legs are exposed more in the Connecta, but I bought a yard of solarweave fabric separately to drape over his legs to solve that problem.
