Snugli baby carrier

We bought the Evenflow Snugli front and back pack soft baby carrier with our first child. She loved it, as have our other two children, but I think I love it more.
My husband and I are very different sizes and it adjusts so well that we can both use it comfortably. It adjusts very much like a back pack. The shoulders adjust and do not criss cross like most other brands. There is a sternum/back strap that works much better than the cross design and makes it feel "snugli" on you.
You can adjust the weight load of the baby, and there is a hip belt that transfers the weight of the baby onto your hips and not your shoulders, wonderful.
The baby starts out facing you and as head support develops the baby can be turned around to see it's new big world. BUT my favorite part is that once the child is old enough the carrier can be put on your back. I am short, only 5'2", so as my babies get longer it is more and more difficult to carry them in front of me because they kick my legs. But with my Snugli I can comfortably put them on my back and still have my hands free to chase the other kids.
If I had bought a different kind of carrier we would have soon outgrown it's usefullness, but with our Snugli we can use it until our children exceed the weight limits.
All three of my children have lived in our Snugli. It has survived a trip to Mexico, backpacking in Rocky Mountian National Park, countless hiking trips, and all the other normal wear and tear kids bring. I always keep it in my car and take it with me whenever I travel.
Whenever friends have babies I highly recommend a Snugli above other brands for it's versatility and durability. We've had ours for four years and it still looks like new. I don't know how I would survive motherhood without my Snugli.
