Safety 1st Air Protect Convertible Carseat

We recently purchased the Safety First Air Protect convertible car seat. The attractive appearance of the product is one of the many positive qualities.

The greatest asset to this carseat is the air cushions on either side of the child's head. The cushions have an adjustable height enabling parents to adjust the seat as the child grows.

This car seat seemed to be extremely comfortable for our ten month old son. While in the rear facing position he still has plenty of leg room. The car seat itself is very light, making it easy to move in between cars. Strapping the child into the seat was quick and simple.

Installing this seat in the rear position proved to be a little difficult. It took us some time to strap the seat in securely. Forward facing installation was much easier. The latch system has push button releases making it easy to anchor into the car. The rear facing position accommodates a child of 5-40 pounds and 19-40 inches. Forward facing accommodates 22-50 pounds and 34-45 inches. The seat features a five point harness system.

Overall, we are very happy with this product and look forward to using it for years to come.
