This is a product that we have used every day and night. It was a little expensive ($150 at Target) but is well worth the money.

The video is so helpful and calms the nerves of a new mother. Our little girl makes a lot of noises in her sleep and we moved her into her own room at 6 weeks. If we would have had a traditional monitor with no screen, I would have walked miles going back and forth from our room to hers. But with the Summer Infant monitor, I can hit the button to show our baby girl and see that she is just having another dream instead of needing me.

If I had to tell a mom to be or new mom what I think is the most important thing to spend a little more money on, it would def. be this item. It is also great when we have a crowd over for a football game and we are in the game room and can't hear very well. I just click the screen on every once in a while and see that she is still snug as a bug in a rug!

This is the BEST monitor ever - especially if you're a freaky parent. It gives me peace of mind knowing that the little one is playing in his crib or just fussing a bit and I can get a few more minutes of shut eye!

Are you a psycho mom/dad who has to check on your new baby every 20 minutes to see if she/he is breathing, not covered with the blanket and happily sleeping? Then... this is the best investment you can have at home for your own peace of mind!

Before my baby was moved permanently to her room, both, my husband and me, used to get up from bed many many times every night just to check everything was ok, not to mention the "going up and down the stairs" from our house when she was napping and us downstairs doing any house work or just "trying" to enjoy a tv show or family/friends company... believe me: very tiring!

Now that we have that wonderful invention: we just carry the monitor clipped to our pants or in our pockets everywhere we go in the house: in the kitchen, while taking a shower, doing exercise on the treadmill, watching tv, having a BBQ or a fire in the back yard or even in between our pillows at night time and turn it on every once in a while to verify that everything is fine. Sometimes, even for fun, we plug the monitor to our tv to check on our little angel on tv! The reception is so good that you can even hear your baby breathing on that little monitor!

The camera is super easy to install: You don't have to drill holes, just a little pin (those for corkboards) makes the job, and if you take the time to find the best place where to install the camera and hide the cord from your child's reach, you may find yourself surprised to see that it can cover a very extensive area in your baby's room which allows you to check on him/her when playing by him/herself too! I can't find better words to express how versatile and useful this product is and how much freedom, rest and peace of mind gives you. It is for much, a great investment!.
