AngelCare Monitor

by Alexis Clark
(London, Ontario, Canada)

I am a first time mom and I just wanted to say I am so thankful for this monitor. It has helped give me a little peace of mind in these last few months.

There are so many things to worry about when you have a new baby, and using my AngelCare monitor helped me not to worry as much. I love all its features. Most of all including the motion pad, the temperature display, and the fact that I can have it on for all sounds or only to hear when she actually makes a noise. I like it in quiet mode for when I'm sleeping (babies make so much noise when they sleep), and during the day I like to hear all her little sounds!!!

Just wanted to say thanks so much for helping make my life more relaxed, and for our peace of mind!

Angelcare Baby Monitor

by Pamela
(Nova Scotia, Canada)

My son was 10 days old when he had unexpected emergency heart surgery. He was our first born, and we were very nervous having him home for the first time after his surgery.

My sister purchased the Angelcare monitor as a gift for us, and we still use this after 2 years. It has brought much peace of mind, and helps me sleep better at night knowing there is that little extra technology to alert us if need be.

Review of the Angelcare Baby Monitor

by Kristin
(Central NY)

Being a first time mom I had a lot of anxiety about SIDS. I did a lot of research about child alert monitors and had a hard time deciding what kind we wanted, until I discovered the Angel Care Baby Monitor.

This monitor comes with both a sound sensor AND a motion sensor! The motion portion goes under the mattress and connects to the transmitter. You can control the sensitivity of the motion portion depending on the weight/activity level or your child.

Basically, if your child stops moving (breathing) for a certain period of time (determined by you), an alarm will sound at both your receiver and the baby's transmitter. The alarm wakes the baby up out of a sound sleep and reminds them to breath. If they start back up breathing the alarm will go off, if not you will be able to get to them quickly to see if something is wrong.

It took a couple of nights of having my son sleep in his crib to get it just right, but once we did it gave me the biggest peace of mind you could imagine. With that monitor on I didn't worry once when he would take a 3-4 hour nap in his crib, or if he slept 6-7 hours at night. The thought of SIDS was quickly put out of my mind thanks to this monitor.

I recommend that every parent get this monitor. Being a first time parent is hard enough without having to worry about SIDS too.
