Review of the Slinglings Baby Sling

Annie snugly in our Slinglings sling.
I bought a sling from slinglings.com when my baby was just a few weeks old.
She is now 19 months old, and the sling is something we can't live without!
When my baby Annie was a tiny infant, she would fit snugly inside the sling, and she'd sleep so soundly, and she'd even nurse while in there! And all of this was hands free!
I could do stuff around the house, eat, dance at a wedding, anything. The sling keeps the baby so close to me, so her weight is well-distributed, and it was even like she was still inside of me.
As Annie got older, she could sit up and face me against my chest in the sling. I could turn her around so she could see out, like a kangaroo baby, and I could hold her on my hip (all still hands free).
It is so helpful when I have other things to carry, like at the store or at church or especially in an airport. Now, Annie is old enough to ask to be carried in the sling. Since she likes to be held quite a bit, and I like holding her, the Slingling helps because my arms don't get tired and we still get to be close while I can still get stuff done.
Studies show that baby-wearing helps with bonding and can even help babies sleep through the night. I know I love our sling, and it fits so well because of Slinglings sizing, and I get many compliments on the pattern. (I chose the pattern because it was called August, and Annie was born in August.)
The best thing about it is how close my baby is to me, and how great the fit is of the sling. It is perfectly snug so the baby is safe and comfortable. I recommend it to all my new mom friends, and when I get stopped in public, I am always willing to share the info. Get a Slinglings for your baby!
