Review of The Miracle Blanket

by Shanna

IF you want your baby to sleep, this is the blanket for you. There are numerous swaddling blankets on the market, but this one is at the top of the list. I have used other blankets and this one holds true to its word.

I have two babies and used it with both and I have numerous friends who have used it and could not live without it.

This blanket keeps baby well secure without the use of any attachments. My first baby went from 3 hours of sleep to 5 the first night I used it. I even had to wake him up to feed because he began sleeping so long past his feeding. I give this to every friend as a shower gift.

Try it and read the direction/information that comes with the blanket. The company's customer service is great as well.

Our baby girl is gonna be 4 months old this week, and we've been swaddling her with standard recieving blankets since she was born. She sleeps so much better when swaddled, it's not even funny.

At night, the only time she wakes up is when she gets out of her swaddle. I get up and re-swaddle her and within seconds she's asleep again. Although this is working ok. I would rather get a blanket that she couldn't get out of in the first place, so she wouldn't wake up at all at night.

The arm flaps on this one look like they do the trick. She is much happier when she gets good sleep, and she gets much better sleep when she's swaddled. So the cruel comments, are nothing more than uninformed people. There is nothing cruel about it. If she's crying when she gets out of the swaddle, and she stops crying and goes back to sleep withing seconds after I re-swaddle her, that doesn't sound cruel to me. It sounds like she really likes being swaddled. She doesn't struggle to get out, she just naturally moves her arms a lot when she's sleeping, but unfortunately when she does that she wakes herself up. So swaddling prevents that, and she sleeps much better.

Couldn't agree more!
by: MommyHoo

We tried 2 other kinds of swaddling blankets before heeding my sister's advice and borrowing her Miracle Blanket. A few days later we bought a second one -- and I'm such a frugal person that if I spend $30 on a single swaddling blanket, you know for sure it's an impressive product. Unlike the other two brands, my wiggly daughter couldn't "escape" this one because it has special flaps for baby's arms. She slept much more soundly, and because we ensured good sleeping habits from the beginning she is still sleeping very well through the night. She has been sleeping 11 straight hours each night since she was 4 months old! I know 2 moms who have 9 month old babies who still don't sleep through the night. Neither of them swaddled their babies. Coincidence? I think not!
For those of you who think swaddling blankets are cruel, think about it: your baby slept soundly all snuggled up in your womb for 9 cozy months, and now all of a sudden your poor baby is expected to sleep with nothing holding him/her through the night? If you ask me, NOT swaddling is cruel!

Why not nice?
by: Brenda

Maria, this is a swaddling blanket to give babies comfort, it makes them feel as if they are snug in the womb. It's not meant to be cruel!
