Review of the Boppy Pillow

Before my son was born, I debated over whether or not to purchase a Boppy to aid with nursing. I first decided not to purchase one, figuring I could use any old pillow. But upon hearing such great things about it from others, I took the plunge and purchased one. Thank heavens I listened to my friends! Since my son's birth, my Boppy has become an invaluable feeding "helper."

The shape of the pillow makes it extremely easy and comfortable to use, regardless of how you hold your child for feedings; its lightweight design allows you to grab and go, turning any location into a place for my little munchkin to comfortably grab a bite to eat. I speak from experience, having used mine multiple times in the backseats of cars! The slipcovers come in a variety of colors and textures, which allows you to personalize your pillow to your tastes. The slipcovers are also easy to slip off and on, making it a breeze to throw in the laundry. All "rough" edges, such as the zippered opening on the slipcover, face away from the body, which means there are no scratchy or uncomfortable pieces rubbing up against your skin.

Having a Boppy pillow really helped me gain confidence as a first-time nursing mother. Not having to worry about juggling and supporting my son properly allowed me to focus more on making sure he was getting the nutrients he needed. Whether you plan on nursing or bottle feeding, I would recommend the Boppy pillow to any mom looking to make feedings a little less stressful and a lot more enjoyable!
