Orbit Baby Infant System

by Jessica Moore
(Bakersfield, CA, USA)

The Orbit Baby Infant system is a stroller, car seat and car seat base ("hub").

One of it's unique features is the ability to lock the seat in four different directions on the stroller (toward the stroller pusher, facing left, right or forward). This comes in handy when at resturants or on walks and you want to angle baby away from direct sunlight.

The stroller is extremly light and very easy to fold (only need one hand). The car seat can be removed from the stroller and placed directly into the car on the carseat "hub." This makes transfering sleeping baby so much easier.

The car seat has a "paparazzi shade" that pulls down and snaps in place to provide full coverage of baby.

Some cons...the car seat is a bit on the heavier side (but which car seat isn't). Also, when we took it on a flight it was broken in several places when we retrieved it (which was discouraging compared to the other less expensive strollers coming out unharmed). Orbit Baby's customer service was top notch and we were able to replace the broken parts, at our expense of course. Orbit Baby offers an airport bag to place the stroller in, but of course that costs more, too.

That is also another bummer...it's a pretty pricy system, but worth it in the long run. Keep in mind that once baby out grows the infant car seat you will have to purchase a toddler car seat and stroller seat for the system.

All in all we love our Orbit and everywhere we go we receive numerous compliments.
