Great Job
by: Debbie

Sounds like you had a good visit with the nutrionist in september. Jameson looks graet and it sounds like he is having a fun time eating all of the great foods you are feeding him.

It is sad sometimes when people feel the need to give you their opinion where it isn't needed. We get that a lot too. As parents, you do the best you can for your child and that is the most important thing. So keep doing what you are doing and your child will benefit from your hard work.
Take care,
Debbie

Good for you!
by: Christine (Editor)

That's excellent news, Erin.

It can be quite scary when your baby's weight doesn't fall within the 'norm' - but Jameson is clearly having a wonderful variety of healthy foods and you are doing a great job!

Another way to boost his calorie intake would be to include avocado in his diet (if you haven't done so already). It's a great source of healthy fats.

Other good calorie boosters are cooked egg yolk, wheat germ and cheese (a cream cheese dip for veggies is often a hit!).

As for people telling you that making your own baby food is 'too much work' - well, judging by the happy smile on Jameson's face from your highchair picture - I'd say it's worth every minute!
