Mum Mum's Baby Teething Crackers

by Amy
(Portland, Oregon)

I absolutely love this product. There are two in a package and my son adores them. My 7yr old daughter does also. They come in two flavors and they are perfectly sized for my sons hands. If I ask him if he wants a num num...he crawls right to the kitchen cupboard and knows what he is getting. They are a healthy snack and quick fix between meals and great while on the go.

Salt and sugar

Probably due to the fact that baby's need small amounts of sodium and simple carbohydrates.

The goal in having a healthy baby isn't to restrict their diet, but to moderate it.

Even homemade Zwieback cookies have sugar and salt in them, as would ANY homemade dough.

Maybe are necessary.

Just as salt and sugar are necessary for non-leavened bread, it may be necessary for mum-mums. I have tried my daughters mum-mums and they really are quite tasty as opposed to how bland they would be without those two items. Not that I have anything against the flavor of plain rice.

I was a fan as well...until I noticed the added salt and sugar! Why can't they be made without these 2 additives...they are not necessary.
