Joovy Kooper Stroller

I needed a sturdy and lightweight stroller for pedestrian travel (we ride public transportation and walk a lot) and for every day sojourns to the playground.
We outgrew a Graco that could hold an infant car seat, so I wanted something for the next step for a growing infant/toddler/small child. I didn't have the room for a big jogger; the joggers were way out of my price range and didn't fold down compactly enough for our small car. The Joovy Kooper is the perfect compromise.
It can be used as a lightweight jogger stroller (can be steered with one hand), is not much heavier than an umbrella stroller, and is very easy to maneuver over rough ground and in the narrow aisles of a store.
One of my favorite features is that the canopy shade is much larger than most and really blocks the sun from my baby's eyes, even at sunset. It can even be tilted so that my baby is completely covered! I also love that the seat can be pushed back all the way flat so my baby can sleep, and so we can do impromptu diaper changes while we are out and about. I got mine for under $150 with free shipping from Amazon, so it was a lot cheaper than many of the high end strollers. It also doesn't tilt when loaded with bags on the handle bars.
I did get a couple of side panniers and a cup holder; while the basket underneath is better than none, I am a person who loves compartments and pockets to organize all my baby stuff. The cup holders will also only hold cans, but a cheap cup hold that straddles the bars like mine does will do the job for larger cups and coffee mugs.
I chose the bright yellow one so that we are very visible to oncoming traffic. I love, Love, LOVE this stroller and would recommend it to anyone!
