This product has gentle motion, gentle lights, volume CONTROL, a fantastic catalog of songs and nature sounds (none of which are annoying or grating), multiple settings (music only, lights and motion only, all together).

The movement of the fish, plants, bubbles, and crab are different from most other I have seen and have a real appeal. MY daughter has had this all her 16 months and she loves it. We call it her "Fish TV". She likes to turn it on herself, and sometimes does when she wakes up in the middle of the night (sometimes she even foregoes calling out to me - a bonus!).

It has a remote that you can use to activate the unit without "showing your face". I, myself really like it and am trying to think of a way to use it when she's out of the crib. Also, the other children in the family, ages 13, 8, 5, 3, and 2 love it.

Worth the money for the versatility and great if you are tired of those awful tinkly music selections some bedtime toys have. I know we were!
