Breastflow BPA-Free Bottles by Learning Curve

I had made the decision to breastfeed our little one because of the superior nutrition breast milk offers your baby. However, I wanted my husband to be part of the bonding experience of feeding our baby so I had decided to both breast and bottle feed.
As I was researching bottles, I found the Breastflow bottles by Learning Curve. I was immediately impressed with these bottles because of the video on their web site showing how easily a baby switches from breast to bottle. My baby really does switch as easily as they claim between breast and bottle.
I received the Breastflow BPA-free starter set as a baby shower gift and let me tell you, these bottles are fantastic!
My son had trouble latching on at first and these bottle helped him learn how to open his mouth to feed properly. As the bottles advertise, the nipple is designed to “encourage the same mouth and tongue position as breast feeding”.
The double layer nipple is designed to mimic the breast and requires the baby to both compress and suck in order to draw out the milk. This is the same jaw action babies
use when breastfeeding so there is no nipple confusion.
The outer nipple is very soft and collapses as the baby sucks, just as the mothers breast does.
The bottles are easy to both assemble and clean. For any mom who needs to both breast and bottle feed due to work requirements or personal preference, the Breastflow BPA-Free starter kit includes all you will need (two 5 oz bottles with Stage 1 nipples, two 9 oz bottles with Stage 2 flow nipples, bottle covers, a snap-on-bottle container, and a bottle brush).
I would recommend purchasing the mi-pump breast pump
to accompany the bottles because you can pump directly into the bottle and store the milk for later. Also, I would purchase the four-pack of additional storage containers as backups in case your bottles are left in the car, daycare, etc.
