Boon Frog Pod

I have always been a fan of the innovative Boon products, and when I first saw this adorable Frog Pod, I was shocked at the price (a whopping $35, though can be found on sale for much less), but my husband bought it anyway since we were redoing the bathroom in frogs...

I have to say, it has been worth every penny!! That is saying a LOT, coming from me. I am the mother that is ALWAYS trying to come up with ways to save money, time, and energy... Sure $35 is a lot to spend on something that just appears to be a cute thing to have on the wall of your bathroom...

But let me tell you what it really does for me.

The Frog Pod (also comes in a Lady Bug Pod) is a bathtub organizer that has a removable scoop to fish all the toys out of the tub before draining. This is a huge help for me because I am very aware of the types of bacteria that can build on toys left in a wet tub. By scooping all the toys into the Frog Pod scoop, I can rinse them clean under the faucet and even spritz them with lysol or whatever cleaning product I see fit (I also bleach his toys once a week and give them a good rinse and shake using this). Then I simply put the scoop back on the holder and the toys drain and dry back into the tub.

The back half of the Frog Pod is the part that has the organizer. It is basically a small shelf that you can set your child's soap, scrubber, shampoo, etc., on so that it is out of the way, but also within reach when you need it.

The best part about this organizer, for me, is the visual impact it provides my son's bathroom. In fact, we liked it so much that we hung it on the wall above the toilet so that it wouldn't be hidden by the shower curtain! It really is a great addition to any bathroom.

Installation is also a snap: I hate it when we buy something but never use it because you have to have a million and one tools to put it up, or because it just seems like such a chore that you forget about it and move on to the next thing... Not with this clever design: you can drill it in to the wall, like we did, or if you don't have a drill, they offer an adhesive strip. This would also be good for those who are renting and want to put it in the tub without drilling holes into the wall.

All in all, my son and I love this Frog Pod! It is fun, attractive, and clever. It keeps his soap and toys clean and organized!
