Getting ready to go for a walk

Woven wraps (like those from Didymos, Storchweig, Ellaroo, etc) have been indispensable to this first time mother.

My baby is very high needs and dislikes being put down, let alone left while I cook dinner.

With a woven wrap I can simply wrap him to my back while I make dinner, or to my hip for a stroll around the neighborhood, or if he gets sick I can wrap him to my chest and he can nap - all the while I can be right there to monitor his temp. and condition.

In a wrap my baby is at eye level, so he can see and interact with everything around us, but if he gets overstimulated he can dimply cuddle down against me. I never have to worry about strangers touching him or spreading germs because he is right up with me, and I can easily turn or back away.

Getting places is so easy - I can walk or take the bus and not have to worry about getting a stroller over difficult terrain or fitting it onto a crowded bus. And shopping is a breeze with no stroller to try and fit through narrow aisles.
