Baby Björn Little Potty

I read some info on EC'ing (Elimination Communication) and have few friends that practice it with their kid, I thought about giving it a try when my daughter is old enough to sit on her own.

When my daughter was around 7 months old I used my son's old potty (Safety 1st step and stool potty) but it looked so uncomfortable for her because it's way up from the floor. It freaked her up, she didn't even want to sit over there.

So I bought this Baby Björn little potty for her, my friend recommended it for me. She just loved it, she sat on it for the first time and peed there. She didn't feel afraid because her feet can touch the floor, and with the little potty contoured to fit a child, she can sit on it comfortably.

I actually bought this at Babies R Us because I wanted to check out both the Little Potty and the Potty Chair in person. Even though the Little Potty does not have a back like the Potty Chair, this is a better size for young babies, mainly because it sits lower so the height is just right. It is small about 4 inches off the ground, and about 8x9 inches.

I have never had a mess with this potty. Everything is contained in the potty every time. And cleaning is very easy. I do pour in some soap and water and soak it for a little while after each use before rinsing it clean and it gets rid of any smell very quickly.

I highly recommend this product if you are thinking about EC'ing or start potty training your kid that's younger than 2 years old.
