Avent Manual Breast Pump Review

by Nadya Small
(Yass, NSW. Australia)

My baby was born 6 weeks early and spent the first 5 weeks in hospital being tube fed and learning to breastfeed. All tube feeds were from breastmilk I had expressed earlier.

The hospital pumps hurt my breasts but I didn't want to stop tube feeding baby breastmilk. I sent my family on a mission to find and purchase an AVENT manual breast pump. (I had great feedback from other mothers on this product.)

Later that day, I received one and instantly began using it. It was comfortable, convenient and I was happy as my nipples began to recover too thanks to the special massage design.

As baby grew I continued to use it to allow my family the opportunity to feed baby from a bottle. The AVENT breast pump then led to more AVENT products, the bottles, teets, cups, storage containers - all of which are still being used. I cannot begin to imagine how different baby and I would be without this one initial purchase that changed everything.
